GEREMONTE, Alida F. "Lee" (Young) 85, of Wareham, died Feb. 20, 2013 in the Royal Cape Cod Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Buzzards Bay. She was the widow of the late Louis I. Geremonte and the daughter of the late Paul and Alida (Fredette) Young. She was born in Haverhill and lived in Revere 30 years before moving to Wareham. Mrs. Geremonte was a talented artist and enjoyed painting and crocheting. She was a member of the Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include her children, Dawn Hunt of Plymouth, Dana Geremonte of Brockton, Frances Doyle of Tewksbury; her sisters, Suzanne Frasier of Phoenix, AZ, Dorothy DiFazio of FL; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Joseph Geremonte and sister of the late Marie Brennan and Rita Munnis. Her funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013 in the Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene, 6 Rogers Ave., Wareham. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visiting hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., WAREHAM.
