Robert Eugene Weeks, Jr was the son of Robert Eugene Weeks, Sr and Alta Clare McGovern. He was born a few months after his father died in May 1947 when the plane his father was captaining crashed during a training mission. Robert, Jr served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and worked as a pilot and flying instructor after the war. In May 1987, Robert, Jr died when his plane crashed. He had never married.
