She was born Feb. 4, 1931, a daughter of the late Morton and Elizabeth Sanders Kitchen. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Lycans; a grandson, Danny Jeffers; a sister, Gloristine Light; and her granny, Angaline Holbrook, whom she patterned her life after. She was a homemaker and granny to everyone. She was a member of the VFW Post 9738 Auxiliary.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank Dr. Beam and the 6th floor Oncology staff for all their compassion. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Beard Mortuary.
