He served in the United States Army during WWII stationed in Africa and Europe.
On June 11, 1949 he married the former Mary L. (Felmer) Ninneman in Peshtigo. She preceded him in death on July 2, 1985.
Willard farmed in the Peshtigo area his whole life and was a member of the Peshtigo V.F.W.
He is survived by three sons: Daniel (Dawn) Buss, Peshtigo, WI; Douglas (Roxanne) Ninneman, Sheboygan, WI and Dale (Kathleen) Ninneman, Green Bay, WI;
One daughter, Judy (Tim) Raygo, Menominee, MI;
One brother, Eugene Buss, Peshtigo, WI;
One step-sister, Viola Anderson, Marinette, WI;
Twelve grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren
Besides his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one son, Brian on July 1, 1978;
One step-brother Myron Borths and one sister Betty Maertz
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Peshtigo from 9:00 A.M. until time of services at 11:00 A.M. The Rev. David Zahn will be officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo.
