Services Held For Mance Anderson
Funeral services for George Mance Anderson, 74, well known Habersham County farmer and Democratic committeeman, were held Monday afternoon at Glade Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. J. E. Allen, the Rev. Clyde Edmonds and Rev. Ben F. Turner, Jr. officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Anderson, a life-long resident of the county, died Saturday night at his home on Mt. Airy Rt. 1 after a brief illness. He was a charter member and deacon of the Glade Creek Church and a retired farmer. He had been a member of the Democratic Executive Committee of Habersham County for the past 34 years.
