GARWOOD — Eve R. Capone Soltis, 84, died Feb. 10, 1998 at Father Hudson House in Elizabeth.
She owned a Sunoco service station bearing her surname for, more than 21 years in Scotch Plains.
Mrs. Soltis was born in Walpole, Mass., and lived in Westfield before moving to Garwood in 1942. Her first husband, Carl Soltis, died in 1971. Her second husband, William Soper, died in 1989.
Surviving are two sons, Carl Soltis Jr. of Stockton and John Soltis of Cranford; a brother, James Capone of New Jersey; a sister, Helen Luca of Flemington; eight grandchildren and a greatgrandchild.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Friday at St. Helen's Roman Catholic Church in Westfield. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery,
Westfield. Arrangements were by the Dooley Funeral Home in Cranford.
