Sarah Elizabeth Duren
Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Duren, 86, 1216 S. St. Francis, died at her home Sunday evening.
Mrs. Duren was born Nov. 1, 1871, at Brownsville, Tex. She came to Wichita from California in 1943. She was a member of the Church of Christ Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Hime, 1838 Laura, Mrs. Fern E. Corun, Sacramento, Calif.; two sons, Lewis H. Wise, Muskogee, Okla.; and James L. Duren, of the home address. Seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Broadway Mortuary chapel. Mr. Philip Slate, of the Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will take place in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
