Original Burial Barkhampsted, when the Reservoir was built her family probably moved her to Dyer Cemetery where a headstone exists today.Julia Case, the daughter of Alexander and A. Mindwell Case, married Chester Hart (1806 - 1869) on March 13, 1833 and made her home with him in Barkhamsted Hollow. They had three children: Julia (January 21, 1837 - January 12, 1840), Monroe (April 30, 1842 - October 3, 1935), and Walter (August 4, 1846 - November 22, 1893). It is believed that she remarried to a Case from North Canton, but no record has yet been found. After she died in 1895, she was buried in Barkhamsted Hollow. When the Barkhamsted Reservoir was built she was likely moved to Barkhamsted Center Cemetery, but her name and her husband's name appear on the Hart gravestone in Dyer Cemetery on a hill overlooking the farm where her descendants moved. Her remains may have been moved to Canton.
