Rhiannon Colleen Aguirre-Bates, 25, of Lakeview Dr., Narragansett, died Saturday at home after courageously battling cancer, surrounded by her family and friends.
Born in South Kingstown, she was the daughter of Jose and Charlene (Kelly) Aguirre and was a 2001 graduate of Narragansett High School.
She was the former wife of Stanley and the loving mother of beautiful daughters, Brooklyn and Emma Jeanne; sister of Siobhan of SC; granddaughter of Jeanne of Narragansett, Jose and Carmen of Spain, the late Bernard Kelly and Edith Aguirre.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday at in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Wakefield. Burial followed in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Arrangements by AVERY-STORTI Funeral Home, Wakefield.
