Dorothy E. DeHaven, 67, of Stroudsburg, died Thursday, Oct. 11. She was predeceased by her husband, Glen DeHaven, in 1991.

Born on May 19, 1940, in White Haven, she was a daughter of the late Charles Kresge Sr. and Elfreida (Hines) Kresge.

She was last employed by the East Stroudsburg School District.

Dorothy was a member of the Eagles Club.

She loved bingo, crafts, singing and music. Her love of music included playing her organ, guitar and harmonica.

She is survived by a daughter, Janette E. Custred and her fiancé, William Stull of East Stroudsburg; a daughter-in-law, Patricia DeHaven of East Stroudsburg; three sisters, Mae Decker of East Stroudsburg, Charlotte Dymond and her husband, Frank, of Tannersville and Nina Jones and her husband, Gerald Sr., of White Haven; a brother, Earl Kresge and his wife, Miriam, of White Haven; and a sister-in-law, Gloria Kresge of Saylorsburg. Other survivors include five grandchildren, Chad Michael DeHaven, Lacey Lee DeHaven, Kristen Angelo-Purves, Angel Lyn Stull and William J. Stull; two great-granddaughters, Micaela Purves and Hope Purves; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Wayne DeHaven; two sisters, Mildred Repsher and Emily Knies; and a brother, Charles Kresge Jr.
