H.A. Albritton was born a twin, paternal twin brother Earl, in 1918 to Tommy A. Albritton and Ethel Albritton in Carrol Texas. He served in the tank destroyers in WWII, European theater. He married Opal Welch Kindle in 1950, had one son Tommy born in 1951. He lived in Van for over 35 years but called Lindale his home town. He worked for the Texas State Highway Department for about 30 years retiring from there in 1980 or 81. He died in a Tyler hospital of lung cancer in Dec 1996.
