Mrs. Anna Margaret Abert, 1219 Emerson avenue, died today at her home at 6 a.m. She had lived here for the past 20 years.
She was born Oct. 28, 1866, in Monroe county, Ill., and had attained the age of 81 years, three months and one day. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Rabbermann. She was married to August Frederick Abert on April 11, 1888, in Edwardsville who preceded her in death March 11, 1929.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lena Grotefendt, Marine and Miss Anna Abert of this city; three sons, Louis of Belleville, Albert of this city and Edward, Alhambra; two brothers, Henry and Herman Rabbermann of Alhambra; 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. One son and two brothers preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Eden Evangelical church and the Women's guild.
The body may be viewed at the Schneider funeral home Friday at 2 o'clock until Sunday at 12 o'clock noon when it will be taken to the Eden Evangelical church to lie in state until 2 o'clock when services will be held with the Rev. H.J. Bredehoeft officiating.
Interment will be made in the Salem cemetery, Alhambra.
