Steltzriede, Mr. Henry Rupp (Hank), of Carrollton Twp., Michigan, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Select Specialty Hospital in Saginaw, after a lengthy illness.
Age 82 years. Henry (Hank) R. Steltzriede was born on March 20, 1930, to the late Walter and Esther (Rupp) Steltzriede.
He married Clara Elenor Dierich on August 4, 1951. She survives him. Prior to his retirement,
Hank owned and operated Hank's Flowerland for 25 years, retiring in 1996. He was a founding member of Messiah Lutheran Church, past president of Carrollton Lions Club, active on the Carrollton Athletic Assoc., Germania Town and Country Club and many of its boards, and Michigan State Florist Assoc. He enjoyed baseball, football, golf, bowling, skiing, and swimming. He has traveled around the world. His yearly vacation was Traverse City and Riverview, FL. Surviving are his two children, Craig Steltzriede, Saginaw, MI; and Julie (Kreutzer) Steltzriede, Sharon, PA; two granddaughters, Amanda and Andrea Kreutzer, and many nieces of nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Lois Goetz.
