Kay Edith (Krause) Eades, 61, of Salem died Sept. 5, 2003.
She was born Feb. 25, 1942, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
She attended the former Yachats Grade School. She graduated from Waldport High School in 1960. (Lincoln Co.)
She worked for Fairview Training Center in Salem for 32 years, before retiring in 1999.
She enjoyed travel, crafts, cooking, and needlework.
She was a member of the South Salem Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Eades; a sister, Joan Taves; two sons, James and Stan; and four grandsons.
A memorial service was held Sept. 12 at the Church of Christ in Salem.
