GEORGE GOSZ

George Gosz of Grimms, who passed away to his Eternal Home Tuesday afternoon, was born in Germany Jan. 10, 1858. He came to his country with his parents in 1865. The deceased had reached the age of 55 years when death claimed him. Mr. Gosz was married thirty years ago and had been foremen of the Cook & Brown Lime Company for some period of time. Thirteen children were born of whom three are dead, Mrs. M. Benzschavel, Frank and Gertrude.

A wife and ten children, Paul of Rockwell, Edward, Peter, Martin, Joseph, Theresa, Anna, Mildred, Marie and Margaret of Grimms are left to mourn the taking away of a devoted husband, kind father and respected neighbor. Faithful to duty Mr. Gosz was well liked by all and especially trustworthy employee.

The funeral will take place Friday morning at St. Michael's Church, Whitelaw, Rev. Herb of Whitelaw performing the last sad rites for the dead. Members of the C.O.F. society will attend the funeral in a body, Mr. Gosz being a member of that order.
