EARL GRISWOLD LOVELAND, 75, of 106 Wintonbury Avenue, Bloomfield, died Tuesday in Lake Worth, Florida. He was born in Bloomfield, where he was a farmer and drove school bus for about 20 years. He was a charter member of Blue Hills Baptist Church.
He leaves his wife, Mary Louisa York Loveland of Bloomfield; two sons, Winston S. Loveland of Freeport, New York, and Ralph Y. Loveland of St. James, Long Island; a daughter, Mrs.George Butch of Granby; three sisters, Mrs. Fred Newberry of Windsor, Mrs. Eleanor Fowler and Mrs. Eugene Bestor, both of Bloomfield, and 14 grandchildren.
The Taylor and Modeen Funeral Home 12 Seneca Road, Bloomfield is in charge of funeral arrangements. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Blue Hills Baptist Church, Hartford, with Rev. George Sinclair officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Bloomfield. Friends may call at the funeral home today and Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Earl G. Loveland Jr. Memorial Fund of Blue Hills Baptist Church.
