Fritz Schollmeyer, 87, a life long resident of the Hope community died last Saturday (January 8, 1966) at St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Hope Salem Presbyterian Church. He was never married.
Mr. Schollmeyer is survived by two brothers, Henry Schollmeyer of the home and August Schollmeyer, St. Louis.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the Hope Salem Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Elmer Setterland officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery."
