Survivors include his wife, his step-children, Crystal Bernier, Gail Martin, and Mike Bernier, two grandchildren, and his brothers, Harry Barker and Norman Barker.
A memorial service was held at Liberty Baptist Church in Alanson. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery in Petoskey.
