PLAN RITES FOR LULA JONES, 56
Body of Mrs. Lula Jones, 56, was returned to Marion today from the Rockville sanatorium where she died on Monday. Mrs. Jones had been a patient there for the last two months and had been in ill health for two years.
A native of Elwood, she had resided in Marion for 35 years, recently at 2507 Home Ave.
Funeral services were held at Thursday afternoon at 2722 South Washington St., where the body will remain. The Rev. James McClain will be in charge and burial was made in the IOOF cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, John Burns, Landess and Joseph Burns, Jr., Sioux City, Ia.; two daughters, Mrs. Martha Thompson, Springfield, Ill., and Mrs. Veda Burns, Ft. Wayne,; two brothers, four sisters and four grandchildren.
