Sara is preceded in death by both parents Victor and Maria Velez, son, Javier Figueroa and brother, Noel Velez.

She is survived by her husband Roberto Ambert; daughters: Beatrice Rivera, Sarah Atiles, and Kimberly Ambert; sons: Rey Figueroa and Robert Ambert; sisters: Maria, Gloria, Gladys, and Migdalia; brothers: Victor and Miguel; grandaughters: Waiikaleina Luna, Alena Reyes, Alexa Reyes, Makaila Reyes, Gabriella Atiles, and Ariana Atiles; grandsons: Eliezer Cruz, Jae Rivera, Giovanni Rivera, Caloub Figueroa, and Joshua Figueroa; and a friend of the family, Jose.
