He was Veterinarian Technician by trade and had worked at the Clear Lake Animal Forest Clinic and was a member of the Brotherhood of Magicians.
Preceded in death by his daughter, Cassie Jeannette Gilbert. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Gilbert of Friendswood,Daughter, Nicole Vargas of Lubbock, son, Nathan Gilbert of Friendswood, borther, Cloy Gilbert and wife Marica of Baytown, sister, Marcelle Haubold husband Doug of Houston.
