A. Ralph Roberts, age 85, of Galax passed away Friday, March 1, 2013 at Twin County Regional Hospital. He was born August 6, 1927 in Baywood, VA to the late Alva F. and Blanch Poole Roberts. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Isom Roberts, of the home; daughters, Rebecca Roberts Johnston and her husband Jimmy of Galax and Susan Roberts of Baywood; son, Matthew Roberts and his wife Patricia of Mebane NC; grandchildren, Rusty Anders, Amber Blevins, Cole Mallory, and Noah Taylor; great grandchildren, Cadence Blevins, Preston Blevins, Bayleigh Anders, and Jensen Anders. He is also survived by a very special friend Santiago Gutierrez.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Twin County Funerals Sanctuary beginning at 2 pm. Pastor Camet Spivey will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. A burial at Felts Memorial Cemetery will be held at a later date.
