Graveside services for Grace Carolyn Aurand will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Dunkirk Cemetery by Pastor Doug Stockton.
She died at 4:05 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the Arlington Good Samaritan Center.
She was born Sept. 16, 1919 to Leleand L. and Grace (Hosafros) Swanger in Madison Township, Hancock County. She married Nile M. Aurand on July 31, 1938 and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda (Donald) Iams of rural Dunkirk and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley Steirwalt; two brothers, John Swanger and Lauren Swanger and one sister, Miriam Swanger McKee.
She was a member of the Arlington United Methodist Church.
