Fanchon P.FENWICK, 93, of Loveland, formerly of Grant, Neb., passed away on Oct. 18, 2008, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 15, 1915, in McCook, Neb., to William B. Sexson and Hessie Mae Harrison Sexson.
She married Earl William Fenwick on March 20, 1933, in Ovid, Colo.
Fanchon worked as a clerk for the United States Postal Service and held many other jobs over her lifetime.
She was a people person who loved volunteering. She enjoyed gardening, reading and her poodles.
She is survived by her son, Charles Fenwick and wife Joan of Loveland; daughter-in-law, Carolsue Fenwick of Loveland; grandchildren, Dana Hueftle, Monty Rex Fenwick, Stacy Bradberry Fenwick, Corinne Lesher; great-grandchildren, Breanne Marie Stalnaker, Mikala D. Trotter, Stephen Dace Hueftle, Melea Ann Hueftle, Levi Walton Fenwick; great-great-grandchildren, Bradley and Jason Stalnaker.
Fanchon was preceded in death by her husband, Earl William Fenwick; son, Donald Dean Fenwick; and 10 brothers and sisters.
Funeral service 10 a.m. Friday, First United Methodist Church, Grant, Neb.
