Edward B. Pettie, 69, died Thursday at his home, 3808 South Warner. Previously he had lived in Longbranch and came to Tacoma two months ago. He was born in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota and was a retired farmer.
Survivers include ywo daughters, Mrs. Ernest Baxter, Tacoma, Mrs. Walter Bailey, Morton; four sons, Lester E. of Yakima, Ernest W. of Centralia, Eral of Central Point, Oregon and Cyrenius I. of Tacoma; one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Bayless of Lakebay, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Private srevices will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Mountian View Garden Chapel, with burial in Mountain View Mem orial Park.
