Robert Lee Abshire was born at Thomas, OK on November 4, 1948 to Dick Lee and Audrey Mae (Chain) Abshire. He departed this life on March 5, 2013 at his home in Canton, OK. He was raised around the Seiling and Canton area, graduating from Canton High School in 1967. Robert was baptized in the Baptist Church when he was a young boy. He joined the U.S. Navy and served from 1967 through 1971. He lived in Alabama for many years until he came back home in 2012.
He was preceded in death by his father Dick Lee; his brother Jerry and his nephew Joe. Robert is survived by his mother Audrey Mae Abshire; brother Orville Abshire and sister Linda Hysell; and many nieces and nephews;
