Mr. Walter Wayne Bailey, 82, of Fort Payne passed away on March 7, 2013 at Dekalb Regional Medical Center. Mr. Bailey was born in Fort Payne on November 29, 1930 to the late Walter Blaine and Nellie Crow Bailey. He retired from the Coca-Cola Company were he worked as a service technician.
Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife of 57 years: Betty Hairston Bailey, son: Russell Wayne Bailey, daughter: Lorna (Gary) Davis, brother: Gordon (Helen) Bailey, sisters: Katherine O'Shields and Frances Harwood, grandchildren: Timothy Lane Bailey and Andrew Cain Henderson, and great-grandchildren: Amber Compton, Brody Shane Bailey, Hailey Henderson and Gabriel Henderson.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday from the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening 5:00 until 8:00pm.
