She was the daughter of the late Adger W. and Maude Ellis Davenport. She was a dedicated member of Chiquola Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, W. Lynne Walker of Honea Path, Cynthia W. Adkins and husband Dr. Clarence Adkins of Hickory Tavern; and two grandchildren, Chandler Joyce Adkins, and Carson Walker Adkins.
She was predeceased by her husband and two brothers, Earle C. Davenport, and Wm. Conrad Davenport.
