The funeral services were held at the M. E. church, conducted by Rev. Hensell, of Terre Haute, Tuesday, May 1st, at 3 o'clock p. m., after which the remains were laid to rest in LaHarpe cemetery. He leaves a father, mother, brother and a host of friends to mourn his lost.

A little form from our home is gone,
A little babe we love so dear.
A place is vacant in our hearts,
For our darling is not here.

There's [sic] two darling little hands
Folded on his little breast,
And his weary soul
Has gone to heaven to rest.

Gently smooth his golden hair
O'er his little brow.
Gently close his dark blue eyes,
Baby is sleeping now.

Darling babe, can it be true?
You was [sic] our earthly care.
It is God's will we should part from you,
But we'll meet just over there

Yes, we must part, but not forever,
Soon we'll meet where angels dwell.
Meet again to part, no, never.
So for a while, sweet lamb, farewell.

Hattie and Grace.

CARD OF THANKS

Our thanks are most heartily extended to the many friends and neighbors who so kindly assisted us in the illness and burial of our beloved babe.

Mr. and Mrs. Jno. W. Gleason.
