Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Bellevue Street Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA., for James "Smokey" Adams, who entered eternal rest, Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Opelousas General Health System in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park in Opelousas, LA.
Mr. Adams is survived by his son, James Charles Hall of Opelousas, LA.; six sisters, Irma Keys (Arthur), Gloria Alexander (Louis) both of Opelousas, LA., Brenda Bellard (Albert) of Lafayette, LA., Gracy Adams of Chandler, AZ., Flora "Betty" Littleton (Drew) of Aurora, CO. and Linda Rutledge of Oklahoma City, OK.; a brother, Golith "Mickey" Adams, Jr. of Opelousas, LA.; 3 nephews Andrew Littleton, Donald "Donny" Guilbeaux, Jr. and Allen Rutledge; 3 nieces, Andrea Danielle Littleton, Elice Rutledge and Dayna Guilbeaux; 4 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his parents, Golith & Lillie Mae Dabney Adams, Sr.
Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Bellevue Street Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA.
