Adolph McShane, who resided two and one half miles north of Texhoma, died last Monday evening at 3:15 o'clock. Mr. McShane had been suffering for some six months with stomach trouble and the end did not come unexpected to relatives and friends. Post mortem was performed on the body and it was found that he died from cancer of the stomach.
Funeral services were conducted at the Baptist church by Rev. Cole, Wednesday at 11 a. m., after which the remains were laid to rest in the Texas cemetery.
He leaves a wife, two daughters, a mother, four sisters and two brothers and a host of friends to mourn his death.
The Times joins with the many friends in extending their sympathies to the relatives in this their hour of grief and sadness.
A more accurate and longer write-up of the death will appear in the next issue of the Times which it was impossible to get in time for this issue.

Mrs. H. R.Green, of Fowler, Colo., was here this week to attend the funeral of her brother, A. McShane.

Uncle Dave Cottle, who owns a farm eight miles northwest of this city, the owner of the noted race horse, John Griffin, and who has been out on the circuits with this horse and Mattie D., another good race animal, all summer, came in form Wichita last Saturday to attend the bedside and death of his son-in-law, A. McShane. Mr. Cattle has returned to Hutchinson.
