Charles "Chip" Hayden Lampe was killed in a single engine plan crash at the Lawrence (OH) County Airport. Lampe, who was born in Lousiville, Ky was a sophomore theater major at the University of Kentucky. He had also spent time in San Francisco studying screenwriting and editing at The Academy of Art. Lampe served for one year with the WorldSmart’s Up With People Program, which involved travel, learning, performance and service.He also was a member of UK’s ice hockey team.
