Martha was the daughter of Leo and Elsie Kerner. She was born around Jan. of 1900 and died a year and one half later from diptheria. Her older sister, Rose, was my grandmother.
Her mother Elsie, was either divorced from or left her father, Leo and married George Haegeman. Both Elsie and George are buried at the Lutheran Cemetery in Middlesex.
