John Brew born Kilrush, County Clair, Ireland. Son of George and Annie. Husband of Mary Fitzgibbon, father of Susan Brew Keane, George and Patrick. He immigrated to America in 1883 after the untimely death of his wife. He spent most of his life in San Francisco as a Hod Carrier. He died at the age of 90 and is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery; Section T, Row 17, Area 46, Grave 1.
