Sophia was born in Prairietown, Ill. September 15, 1863. She married William Frederick Aldrup April 28, 1886 in Edwardsville, Ill. They had three children; Henry, Clara and Carl.
Sophia died January 1, 1935 at the home of her granddaughter Hilda Beyer, with whom she was living with. She was preceded in death by her husband william, and both sons Henry & Carl.
She is survived by her daughter Clara (Aldrup) Mallette, granddaughter Hilda Lillian (Mallette) Beyer, great grandson Lee W. Troutt all of St. Louis.
