Sylvia E. Benedetto Falcigno, 96, of Wallingford, died Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Falcigno.
She was born in Meriden, June 29, 1914, daughter of the late Pasquale and Jennie DelGirno Benedetto. She was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra J. Biehn; her three grandchildren; and her great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her daughter, Patricia Ann Meeker; and her two granddaughters, Pamela Meeker and Cayla Meeker.
Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, Saturday, December 18, when the funeral cortege will proceed to Most Holy Trinity Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery in Wallingford.
