73 year old, Betty L. Bliss of DeMotte, passed away
March 10, 2013 at her home with her loving family
around her.
On December 19, 1939, Betty was born to Conrad and
Lucille (nee: Whitehead) Bennett in Centertown,
Kentucky. Betty married Earl B. Bliss on January 28,
1961 in Gary, Indiana. Betty loved being a homemaker.
She attended English Lake Church before moving to
the Calvary Assembly of God Church in DeMotte.
Betty is survived by her husband: Earl, family:
Michaela Bennett, Aaron (Patty) Bliss, Stephen (Jenni)
Bliss, Rachel (Tom) Hoffman, 9 grandchildren: Jessica & Joshua Bliss, Alayna,
Jadon, Zion & Eliana Bliss, Charissa, Harrison & Audrey Hoffman, and siblings:
Roy (Ramona) Bennett, John (Joyce) Bennett, Sue (Larry) Hardesty, Teresa (John)
Freyek, and Cathy (John) Denham.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Crystal Dawn, brother Gary
Bennett, and sister Brenda Light.

p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Calvary Assembly of God Church of
DeMotte. Services for Betty will take place at the church on Tuesday, March 12,
2013 at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor James Clark & Rev. Art Good officiating. Private
family interment will take place on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Chapel Lawn
Cemetery.
