Permelia Miller Johnson of Crystal Springs, Mississippi was born on April 17, 1920 in Simpson County, Mississippi to Roscoe Conklin Miller and Ola Cumi Harris Miller. She was a housewife and resided in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. She is survived by her three daughters; Ina Lamar of Crystal Springs, Mississippi, Hilda Garrett (Mike) of Alvin, Texas, and Ellen Norwood (Sydney) of Brandon, Mississippi, her six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother; Bowen Miller of Crystal Springs, Mississippi. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband; J. Todd Johnson, her parents, her sisters; Julia Rhodes, Ilene Bridges, Marie Williams, and Myrtle Ashley, and her brother; Howard Miller. Services were held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at First Baptist Church, Crystal Springs, Mississippi at 3:00P.M. The visitation was at 2:00 P.M. at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to; Mississippi Down Syndrome Society, First Baptist Church Crystal Springs, or the American Cancer Society . Sebrell Funeral Home of Ridgeland, Mississippi is in charge of arrangements.
