Funeral services for Marcella H. "Sally" Bonetto, 97, of Panama were held Sunday, March 10, at 2 p.m. in the Perfetti Funeral Home in Panama. Father Dan Willenborg officiated, and burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery, Sorento.
Mrs. Bonetto died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at 11:37 p.m. in Hillsboro Area Hospital.


She was born on June 18, 1915, in Johnson City to Alex and Helen Urban. She and James Bonetto, Sr., were married on May 14, 1938, in Chicago; he preceded her in death on Dec. 14, 2007.
Also preceding her were one daughter, Marcella Dankoski; one son, James Bonetto, Jr.; and two brothers, Alex and Albert Urban.
She is survived by one son, Richard Bonetto of Dallas, TX; one grandson, Eric (wife Mandy) Dankoski of Wildwood, MO; two great-granddaughters, Luciana and Cloe Dankoski; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bonetto first worked in a factory and then became a licensed beautician.
She was a member of the former Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Panama and that church's Altar and Rosary Society.
The family suggests memorials be made to Sunnyside Cemetery.
