He was born March 3, 1928, in Tiffin, to the late William and Clara (McConnell) Behm. His wife, La Donna (Boes) Behm, whom he married Nov. 27, 1948, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, died April 28, 1997.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Sharon) Borkosky of Fostoria; a son, Dennis L. (Janel) Behm of Tiffin; five grandchildren, Paula Borkosky of Fostoria, Beth Borkosky of San Antonio, Texas and Greg, Patrick and Kelly Behm, all of Findlay; a brother, William Behm of Tiffin; and a sister, Mrs. Frank (Mary) Parker of McCutchenville,.
A sister, Molly Welter, is deceased.
A 1947 Calvert High School graduate, Mr. Behm was a maintenance technician for Decker Furniture and former owner of Golden Acre Turkey Farm. An avid fisherman and boater, he was a member of Sandusky River Coon Hunters Association and St. Joseph Catholic Church.
A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. James K. Say officiating. The rosary will be prayed at 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today, March 21, in the Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home.
