Harold Eugene Bartnicki, 56, of Massillon, Ohio, died Saturday, March 19, 2005 in Massillon Community Hospital.

He was born September 14, 1948, in Wheeling, West Virginia, the son of Edward Bartnicki and the late Betty Jane Leone Bartnicki.

Harold was an employee of Progressive Ford in Canal Fulton.

He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of the VFW Post # 3124 in Massillon.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Bartnicki.

Surviving in addition to his father, Edward of Barton, Ohio, are his five daughters, Charlene Mazgaj, Holly Rauschenberg and Rachelle Baugh all of St. Clairsville, Amanda Bartnicki of the home and Olivia Bartnicki of Virginia; his fiancé, Christine Koudelka; a stepdaughter, Stephanie Koudelka of the home; three brothers, John Bartnicki of Fairpoint, Ed and Jim Bartnicki both of Barton; two sisters, Patricia Sneddon of Chillicothe, Ohio and Rose Ann Frohnapfel of Colerain; and nine grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m., with Father Thomas Graven officiating.

Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.

The Belmont County Council of VFW's will have services at 7 p.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday.
