Prior to his retirement in 1987, he was employed as a dockworker at Pacific
Intermountain Express, Bath Terminal for 20 years. Prior to that he was a
bus driver at D.C. Transit in Washington, D.C.
He is survived by two daughters, Gail Joyce GROVE, of Bath, and Wendy K.
Sterling and husband, Charles G. II, with whom he resided; two sisters,
Helen Sanner, of Irwin, Pa., and Hazel Hazzinger, of Uniontown, Pa.; three
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and he was previously married to
Lorretta June (BURKE) Grove of Bowmanstown.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, from Faith Alive
United Methodist Church, 678 Pine St., Bowmanstown, Pa.
