Clay Center-- Betty Jean Taylor, 62, Clay Center, died Monday, July 7, 1997, at Clay County Hospital, Clay Center.
Mrs. Taylor was born Betty Jean Farrow on Feb 5, 1935at Clay Center. She worked for co-op for 23 years and Gibson Discount Center, both of Clay Center. She was a member of the Christian Church and BPOE Auxiliary, both of Clay Center.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
Survivors include her husband, Roy of Clay Center: three sons, (Omitted names for privacy)and two daughters, her parents Otto and Velma Farrow, of Clay Center 10 grandchildren, three step grandchildren, and four step great grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:30 am Thursday at the United Methodist Church, Clay Center, Pastor Harold Brown officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center.
Memorials may be made to Clay County Cancer Association in care of the funeral home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 pm today at Neill- schwenson- Rook Funeral Home, 918 Seventh, Clay Center 67432, where family will recieve freinds from 6 to 8 pm.
