A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Boyles Chapel Primitive Baptist Church, King, by Elder E.W. Hooven and Elder Jimmy Lankford. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She was born on May 6, 1918, in Stokes Co., a daughter of the late Jimmy and Sally Cassell Fulk. She was a retiree of Hanes Hosiery and was a member of Boyles Chapel Primitive Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Lankford.
Surviving are her daughter, Caroline Pegram of Oak Ridge; a son, Ed Lankford of Greensboro; a niece, Frances Hooven; and one grandson and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hayworth-Miller-Cain Funeral Home, Kernersville.
