Joyce E. King, age 57, of Two Rivers, died early Sunday morning, September 26, 1999, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc, after a courageous battle with leukemia.
Joyce was born April 2, 1942, in Manitowoc, daughter of Margaret (née Schill) Becker and the late Richard Becker.
On May 23, 1964, she married James E. King at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Joyce attended St. Andrew Parochial Grade School and was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1960. Joyce was employed with the Foley Company of Manitowoc for 17 years until her retirement due to her illness.
Survivors include her husband, James King, Two Rivers; two daughters and one son-in-law, Mary King, Manitowoc, Kim and Ken Cigler, Two Rivers; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Jennifer King, Two Rivers; two grandchildren whom she adored deeply, Dylan and Cody King; her mother, Margaret Becker, Manitowoc; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Christa Becker, Manitowoc; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Raymond and Edna King, Two Rivers; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Charles and Barbara King, Manitowoc, Donald and Charlotte King, Crivitz; two sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Virginia and William McGovern, Two Rivers, Marilyn and James Sweetman, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Kay King.
Funeral Services will be held at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers, with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
