Doris Maxine (Lansdown) Thomas, 88, of Owasso, OK (formerly of Butterfield, MO) passed away on Thursday October 24, 2013 at the St. John's Hospital in Tulsa, OK. She was born on June 8, 1925 in Purdy, MO, the daughter of the late Bert and Ethel Bea (Simpson) Lansdown. She was united in marriage on March 15, 1956 in Stotts City, MO to Edward Thomas, he preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Community Faith Chapel in Butterfield, MO.
Doris is survived by two sons, one daughter, one brother, two sisters, nine grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren, one of which preceded her in death; seventeen great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and one step great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death two brothers: Burl and Jim Lansdown, and one sister: Bonnie Norvell.
Graveside services were held on Tuesday October 29, 2013 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Rev. Doyle Russell officiated.
