Pat Dahl, 89, died Aug. 20, 2011 at home in Poulsbo. Patricia Maude Castle was born to Mac and Alma (Thompson) Castle in Bremerton and attended Bremerton High School. She married Isaac "Ike" Dahl December 31, 1939 at Calvary Pentecostal Church. They lived in Shelton, Glacier, Centralia, Ukiah, Ca. and Silverdale before moving to Port Angeles where they proudly bought a permanent home in 1965.
Pat worked briefly at PSNS but happily spent her life as a homemaker, raising 3 children and sharing her life with her husband of 63 years. Pat enjoyed tending her flowers, fishing with Ike on their boat, and preparing great meals for her family. She loved nature, long walks, music, cards and her faith in God. After Ike died in 2002, she lived with her daughter Pat in Poulsbo.
Pat was preceded in death by 5 sisters & 2 brothers. She is survived by son Dan & wife Virginia Dahl, Seattle & daughters Teresa Dahl, Kirkland & Pat Allen, Poulsbo; sister Avis Brennan. Auburn; 6 grandchildren & 6 greatgrandchildren.
She crocheted daily, donating over 200 baby blankets to the Healthy Start Program for Friends of Youth, Seattle.
