She spent her early years there before moving to Marinette in 1936.
On April 15, 1941, she married Harold E. Seefeldt and he preceded her January 2, 2003.
She was a longtime employee of the former Marinette General Hospital as a housekeeper. She was an active member and past president of the former AMVETS Auxiliary and volunteer work at the Iron Mountain VA Hospital.
She and her husband resided at Marinette Apartments I, 1520 Ludington Street, for many years, where she was active in resident activities. She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and a luncheon group of hospital retirees.
Survivors are a son Ronald of Sheboygan, WI;
four daughters: Lois (William) Steinhaus of Huntley, IL; Karen (Arnold) Doehling of Brownton, MN; Cheryl (Ronald) Sommers and Kaye (Stephen) LaCombe of Green Bay, WI;
12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren with one on the way;
a sister Evelyn Groman
and sister-in-law Marie Magruder, both of Marinette, WI.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two infant children, Phyllis and Robert.
Funeral services held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church with burial in Forest Home Cemetery of Marinette, WI.
