Harry B. Grandison, age 75 of Knightstown, passed away Wednesday morning, March 13, 2013 at Hancock Regional Hospice in Greenfield, IN.
He was born September 4, 1937, in Markleville, the son of the late Paul and Eleanor (Blake) Grandison.
Harry retired from Ford Motor Company after 36 years of service, was an avid horse lover, and enjoyed camping and the outdoors. He was a part time farmer, enjoyed watching basketball, football, baseball and coached his girls softball team.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years Bonita (Beatty) Grandison of Knightstown, four daughters: Kay "Denny" (Daniel) Bramell of Knightstown, Kelly "Koolie" Fox of Rushville, Kim "Bo Jackson" Grandison of Knightstown, Kerry "Snarebear" Grandison-An, Virginia, six grandchildren: Kyle Jordan, Joshua Bramell, Dana York, Alyssa Sneed, Gina An, Dean An, six great grandchildren: Rylie Jordan, Dylan Morris, Dallas Bramell, Hadley Bramell, Kalynn Walker, Abi Sneed, five sisters: Marilyn (Emory) Reece, Leah McDonald, Paula (Scott) Way, Virginia (Lloyd) Dunaway, Margie (Terry) Adamson, one brother: Hugh (Betty) Grandison, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law: Rusty McDonald, great niece: Hope McDonald.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Terry Adamson officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11-2 prior to the service at 2p.m. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
