Mary Banks Spencer, 91 of Clearwater, Florida formerly of El Paso, died Thursday July 5, 2007 at Westchester Gardens, Clearwater. Born in St. Petersburg, Florida, she lived in El Paso, Texas from the 1930's until she returned to Florida in 2002. She was a Registered Nurse working with Polio patients and was a longtime school nurse in El Paso. She worked for various teachers and nurses organizations. She volunteered at the Episcopal Church Thrift Shop and was a talented painter. Survivors include 2 sons, Charles, Clearwater and John, El Paso. A memorial service will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church, 3500 McRae Blvd on Tuesday, July 24, at 11:30 AM and a graveside service at Restlawn Memorial Park, 8700 Dyer St., will be held on Wednesday, July 25th at 10:00 AM.
